Ok gotcha on 91. Since I live in Denver we don’t have 93 here. But question is the support agent said for e85 “I just need tune” no need for flex fuel kit or anything. How does ecu know what fuel I got and how does it adjust itself?

All - just quick update. I reached out to Lund racing and few others. Below was the response I received from Lund customer support. I really don’t understand necessity if we don’t gain anything on 91 tune and e85 we may? What’s use of tuning?

I think so too. I’m planning to eventually add ESS G3 but again that might need radiator/oil cooler upgrades for extra heat produced. But that’s topic for another day.

In another post you mentioned with tuning alone we can get about 50-60 whp gains n adding catless headers might go max of 500 whp car with e85. I was quoting that.

Wait another user ZXMUSTANG mentioned yesterday there would be gain of close to 60+ hp with e85. So that’s BS?

I have similar sound n only hear it when I’m accelerating but I do have cooks headers installed. The tech who installed it said it’s sound from headers. But your case might be the intake.

Anyone got updates on ESS kits? One YouTuber received it few weeks ago but hasn’t installed it yet. So thinking should I wait for ESS anymore or just go with Whipple? Cos I haven’t seen them sending kits to who are already on waitlist here or no update from anyone who’s received ESS kits.

I think the cost would be one of the main reasons cos it’s affordable compared to other superchargers available now costing $10-$12k. Easy installation compared to Turbos and don’t require professionals mechanics to install kit. And according to “651garage” (YouTuber) ESS superchargers...

Did you get any discounts on the kit? Since y’all are gonna be like the pioneers trying this kit on s650. Was talking to my coworkers n he said some company do sponsor or discount their products initially. Idk if ESS does this as they’re pretty known in Mustang community now.

According to HPR they have started shipping G3 kits last week.

I had Borla Atak catback on my s650 quad tips with Active valves no drone at all. Definitely recommend them.

Update - called ESS they said G3 kit should be out in about 2 weeks.
