lol nah bro.. I was just trying to understand more and asked same question to everyone I met.. believe me I asked my coworkers who are car guys too. Maybe someone who doesnāt know more on tuning like me may get help from this nowš
Ok gotcha on 91. Since I live in Denver we donāt have 93 here. But question is the support agent said for e85 āI just need tuneā no need for flex fuel kit or anything. How does ecu know what fuel I got and how does it adjust itself?
All - just quick update. I reached out to Lund racing and few others. Below was the response I received from Lund customer support.
I really donāt understand necessity if we donāt gain anything on 91 tune and e85 we may? Whatās use of tuning?
I think so too. Iām planning to eventually add ESS G3 but again that might need radiator/oil cooler upgrades for extra heat produced. But thatās topic for another day.
Iām new here and trying to learn.
My original question to start this thread was to ask since I got base 650 GT would that impact my car after tuning as it generates more heat as I donāt have perf pack radiator or oil cooler. Some members on group say like Iām gaining 10 whp with tuning n you...
In another post you mentioned with tuning alone we can get about 50-60 whp gains n adding catless headers might go max of 500 whp car with e85. I was quoting that.
Hi all - I have a base S650 GT (2024) with catless longtube headers. Iām planning to get a 93 tune/e85 tune from shoemaker/wengerd performance/DRP. Iām wondering if tuning car generates more heat cos of change in timing and since I donāt have the performance pack radiator n oil cooler will it...
I have similar sound n only hear it when Iām accelerating but I do have cooks headers installed. The tech who installed it said itās sound from headers. But your case might be the intake.
Appreciate this video man have seen this before. The only reason I waited this long is cos I drove a buddyās GT 2020 on ESS n loved it and been waiting for new kits. But since the launch itās been more than 6 months n kits not received or we donāt have any updates or enough data (apart from test...
Anyone got updates on ESS kits? One YouTuber received it few weeks ago but hasnāt installed it yet. So thinking should I wait for ESS anymore or just go with Whipple? Cos I havenāt seen them sending kits to who are already on waitlist here or no update from anyone whoās received ESS kits.
Damn right brother! Thought this thread was closed as this happened months ago.. and now I see people started adding their experiences from years ago lol which is fun to think about now. Anyways stay safe everyone since MLK is around donāt get pulled over š
I think the cost would be one of the main reasons cos itās affordable compared to other superchargers available now costing $10-$12k. Easy installation compared to Turbos and donāt require professionals mechanics to install kit. And according to ā651garageā (YouTuber) ESS superchargers...
Did you get any discounts on the kit? Since yāall are gonna be like the pioneers trying this kit on s650. Was talking to my coworkers n he said some company do sponsor or discount their products initially. Idk if ESS does this as theyāre pretty known in Mustang community now.
Just had call with one of the ESS dealerships they said they are getting the kits by today n starts to ship them. Iām on their waitlist for G3 kit now. No ETA on when the next shipment is gonna arrive. If any members of the forum getting their ESS kits pls keep all of us posted on the...
