I wouldn't go beyond what it came with. Most of the OEM 19" wheels are 8.5" wide and the 255 tire is as wide as I would go.

Even when Ford does finally allow tuning via Ford Performance, they can still do OTA upgrades. Most manufacturers do this. My BMW G87 M2 has already had 2 OTA updates.

I actually think FP is behind the curve ball here. Ford Authority quoted Ford as saying there were kits coming for these cars. I for one believe a lot of the slow sales for the GT is the fact the limited amount of tuning if any available.
