Speaking of the Nurburgring...7:37 with Mich PSC2s. Not a full on competition tire. It could have done in the low 7:30s with a stickier tire. Like a Mich PSC2R.
I would love it. Remember I owned a 2020 Mustang GT PP1 car. Loved it, Ford Performance Track kit, 409 gears Ford Performance Power Kit with Borla Switch fire and Ford Performance by Borla Aggressive exhaust.
My Stang
One thing, when I got the M2 I did miss the Stang. It is more visceral that the G87 due to the Coyote and the exhaust note. The M2 it took a couple of weeks of ownership until I fully started realizing what this car is about. Part of that is the 1200 mile break in, so for the 1st month or two...
The MT M2 runs pretty much what a A10 Mustang runs. Also if you get the auto version of the DH or the M2 the ZF8spd is so much better for track work than the A10 in the Mustang. At the drag strip the auto zf8 spd M2 is a 3.6 0-60 and almost mid 11s at over 120mph.
I got the Dinan spacers and they came with their own bolts. If you get the blue calipers it doesn't come with those pads. They still dust real bad but they aren't as noisy.
I hate black wheels...I am using 15mm spacers and an Eibach Pro Kit which lowered the car just .75" front and .6" rear. Also I am running a 295/30/20 tire instead of the OEM 285/30/20.
If I could have gotten a 2025 G87 they now offer silver 930M wheels and I would have gotten those. One...
Oh yes, I love the S650 interior. I have sat in a Premium DH at my local dealer. Huge upgrade over the S550. Drove extensively a Premium GT. The M2 s interior along with the S650 had a lot of similarities. The huge screens in general. I found the BMWs is more responsive and isn't as laggy...
It does take some getting used to. I have had 2 E46 M3s, and 2 E92 M3s so I knew what I was getting into. It took me a whole week to finally get it where I can drive aggressively without there being any jerking. Like any car out there, you have to learn its intricacies. There is nothing...
I have had the M2 for almost a year now. I will do a comparison vs. the S550 Mustang. Which by the way I thought would wipe the floor with the S650. My 2020 S550 put down 445rwhp and with 4.09 gears was no slouch. I feel this M2 would beat it. This car in 3rd gear is a monster, not to...
Not at all...I could have gotten an M4 and I still chose the M2. I love the size, it reminds me more of the E46M3 in size. Also, the M4 Comp Xdrive has no manual. Not to mention the M2 can be had for the price of a fully loaded Mustang GT or a non HP DH.
I had an S550 Mustang GT, had a 2024 S650 on order I ended up with a G87 M2. I love the thing, and yes it definitely is worth the extra dough for the M2 vs. the M240i. If you want a manual there is no choice. My car is a sunroof car with no carbon and I weighed in at right at 3800lbs. BMW...
