At times I wonder who has charge of FORD color combos.
If you like dark gray, medium gray, light gray, you can be happy. Recently I saw a Grabber Blue Convertible with Ember Glo seats...oh boy!
Did somebody hire their color-blind sister-in-law with pink and green hair to come up with these colors?
Pretty nice looking car! A very classic convertible color combo!! I hope you made out O.K. on the trade. I'm thinking of trading my 24GT on a 26 GT PP but it scares me to think of the difference!
Sometimes I wonder if Buying a 2024 GT Premium was a mistake especially when I see so many FORD recalls. I'm waiting until good weather to have my water intrusion issue recall down. It seems as though all car makers have created a true monster with all the technical things they add to a car or...
Thanks for the info on the recall. I had considered waiting on the repair but it may take longer than I expected. I'm hoping that sealing is all I need!
Keep the info coming...it will benefit others on this site who currently have cars in storage.
I got a letter on my 2024 GT Premium a couple of months ago with regards to the water leak at the cowl. To date, my car is still in storage but in a month or so I will be taking my car to the dealer for the repair. Can anyone give me an idea of what to expect. How long does the recall take? Has...
I live rather close to car dealer row in my area. Mazda, Honda, Subaru, etc. All of the dealerships have rows and rows of unsold vehicles, both new and used. Now is not the time to trade a car. Dealers need cash flow and it's not there especially for Mustangs. Chevy dealers all have Corvettes on...
Today on FOX News they said that the average cost of a new car is a bit over $50K vs. the average used car is a bit over $26K. That tells me that most people in the car market can't afford more than $26K. The dealer needs to devalue your almost new trade in to get to the correct price point...
A Dark Horse will never be a Barn Find. FORD tends to quit making parts for cars after 10 years. After market might save you, but I doubt it. So, buying these cars with the hope of having it 20 years from now is questionable.
Enjoy the car today, lose the money today, and hold them or fold...
Honestly, unless you are in love with the Dark Horse name, a GT will serve you well. Get the GT with a 6 speed, better gears in the rear, active exhaust, BREMBO brakes, premium trim to be comfortable. B and O Stereo if you are a music guy. Upgrade the wheels. Or get a GT with the Performance...
Agree on KBB not close in most cases. Dealers in my area go by auction prices. Your trade is the current auction price, and the retail is $5k-$10K over. If the car/truck has a door ding that's a $1000 less.
It's the old...how much would you like to pay per month deal? 84 months...no problem.
An...
A Mazda dealer just listed a 700A USED 2025 Dark Horse with 8.8K miles on it for $59,995. Another Ford dealer has a new Dark Horse listed MSRP $68,070, sale price $64,923...
Sadly, the Dark Horse is a decent car but not something that's in high demand. Although dealers put an additional markup on the MSRP, NOT MANY GOT IT. I watched a Dark Horse at one of Pittsburgh's largest Ford dealer's lot. It sat there long enough for the ADM sticker asking $10K over MSRP fade...
A good dealer friend of mine tells me that his dealership relies heavily on auction prices. When they take in a used car, they never give more than what the auction pays. That way if they need cash flow, they can clear out slow sellers and not lose money.
You better keep and enjoy your Mustang since they are a bad investment. The current car market is slow and since the S650 was introduced, they are not flying off the new car lots. Dealers need to price used vehicles so that they can sell them especially during the winter months. As always, it's...
The grilles on the last whole generation of Shelby GT500's were absolutely beautiful! The grille in the new SC looks like something that they adopted from a Checker Cab!
I'm sorry, it just doesn't get it for me.
If I'm going to pay $100K for a car it better make a statement. Sorry, this one...
Most of the people I know fall into the middle to upper middle class. When the Shelby GT500 came out in 2007 they were around $47K. My friends bought them. Things have changed that have added so many additional costs of daily living. The fun money has been taken away by inflation. Wages haven't...
