I would never get a 2 door vehicle for a daily driver or practicality. These would be a 3rd or 4th car as a weekend/track car.
If you need practicality in a sport coupe or sport sedan format, it's really hard to argue with an M3.
The point was that for $75k, most buyers are going to prefer a C8 configuration over a DH configuration. The sales numbers reinforce this. Ford has a great car with the DH - it just needs to be in the $45-55k range.
We could include everything going back to 2005 if you would like.
I believe...
You've, indirectly, demonstrated my point. If the the majority of Mustang sales are not DH sales, then that means for a $60k-$80k buyer, the Corvette is the preferred platform by a long shot.
If you look at the sales of Mustangs since 2015, it's a steady decrease to the current sales numbers...
At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what they were X years ago, the market price of a new C8 2LT Z51 (via a high volume dealer like Maculkin, Ciocca, etc.) is less than the market price of a 2025 Mustang DH Premium + Recaros and Handling Package (via Granger Ford).
This is probably part of...
The 2025 M2 also gets a power bump on top of the 2024 M2, but I wouldn't buy a car for the purpose of drag racing - it's literally one of the last important factors for me.
The problem that I see is that the 2025 Mustang DH Premium with the Recaros and Handling Package MSRPs for almost $78,000.
That's well above M2 territory ($65,000) and that's arguably more than a new C8 2LT Z51 vehicle since the volume Corvette dealers are $6,000 to $9,000 off MSRP these days...
Really? BMW only raised the price of the M2 by ~$1800 compared to Ford’s price increase of the DH Premium. Ford already had a value proposition problem with the DH Premium + Recaros +HP in 2024 when competing against the BMW M2 and C8. This recent price increase bolsters that argument.
The 2025 G87 M2 would be the best buy in the low $60k range. It's disappointing that a DH Premium with the Recaros and Handling package would be more expensive.
If you look on the F150gen14 forums, the F150 production and delivery scheduling has been a disaster as well.
"Had" being the operative word. It's no longer an issue. Not sure why it's taking Ford so much longer to figure this out compared to other manufacturers.
It's a significant problem because, at this point, there's plenty of C8 inventory to the point where dealers are doing $9k off MSRP on new C8 Corvettes ...
Yes. Sometimes, people make poor life decisions. Allowing other people to see the consequences of those poor life decisions may convince them not to do the same.
What part of the Terms of Service are you implying he violated?
Just because YOU felt offended doesn't mean everyone else did as well; you don't need to speak for the rest of us.
If you feel you need to report it, then do so.
I'm curious about this.
If the differences of the HP are largely wheels/tires, then I'd be inclined to forgo to the HP and install some parts from the HP later on (ie. camber plates).
I think most people who end up tracking the car frequently are going to opt for a square wheel/tire setup anyways.
