I am familiar with the spoiler drippage that you are referring to, but I think this is different. The dried water trails in the trunk lead me to believe that water is intruding through the seam that is highlighted in my original photos. That being said, I would certainly prefer your theory...
Just picked my Mustang back up from the local Ford dealership and they seem to think that they were able to locate/resolve the source of the leak:
verify concern inspect for water leak mt remove rear scuff plate and interior trunk panels upon inspection found RR tail light harness boot not...
I am genuinely curious about the mindset behind this comment.
Based on what I have experienced so far on my iPhone after updating the app on Monday, this seems like an improvement over the previous UI (for the most part). If anything, this version seems much more "old fella" friendly with the...
4.6L V8s of the same era were also equipped with the ejecto-spark plug feature. Good times for all.
For the OP's sake, I'm hoping this replacement EcoBoost powerplant will alleviate any future 'EcoBoom' headaches and provide many miles worth of enjoyment.
Ah, just what we needed. Another entirely new thread for this recall just to announce what you found in your mailbox.
Why would you not just post this update in one of the three existing threads that are already dedicated to discussing this...?
As already mentioned by just about everyone else in here, I cannot image that the 60th Anniversary Edition of the S650 will ever be worth much more than a similarly equipped GT Premium as folks look towards resale value in the coming years.
With the exception of potentially owning the only...
Water entry point seems to be somewhere in the weather seal strip that runs along the bottom of the rear window (most likely towards the passenger side). Unrelated to the trim on either of the rear quarter windows.
Parking a lithium-ion powered EV in your garage has been commonplace since mass-produced EVs started hitting the market ~15 years ago. Sounds like someone has been spending a bit too much time reading fear-mongering EV posts on Facebook again.
Why continue to purchase Motorcraft filter replacements when you could just buy a quality set of dry filters from ThInk Auto Tech, aFe, Steeda, etc. and just rinse them off when they get dirty...?
Spent some time washing the Mustang yesterday afternoon and was met with a small puddle in the trunk while drying everything off. After some further inspection, it seems that water is making it's way through the rear window seal, through the metal seam underneath, and into the trunk. It was not...
For the sake of pointing folks in the right direction, the "Air Design" front splitter is still technically an aftermarket option (that can be purchased directly from Ford).
The "stock replacement" splitter would be one of the following part numbers:
Performance Pack: PR3Z-17D957-CA
Base...
Glad to see that you've missed my point entirely and responded to my post with yet another paragraph rambling about how hard you've worked to squirrel away enough money for your purchases. Remember when this thread was about the Mustang sales for September of 2025?
Maybe I'll go have this same...
Brother, do you do anything else with your free time besides watch Dave Ramsey videos and complain about how other people opt to spend their own money?
We get it, you are incredibly proud of your ability to budget and/or save up those hard earned pennies and now you are the proud owner of your...
No wonder the specific sealant for this recall is so hard to come by; these techs are using 3 entire tubes of it per Mustang!
Normally this sort of thing wouldn't bother me, but man does that look... rough.
This is spot on; two weeks is the magic number.
I believe the FordPass app will also send a push notification (at least on iPhones) when an associated vehicle goes into Sleep Mode. Don't even need to open the app!
