While I'm sure that there is plenty of discussion to be had about how the current-gen Mustang stacks up against these other vehicles performance-wise, this thread seems to just be an opportunity for @buddyg to gloat about his past/present vehicle ownership.
Certainly an interesting way to...
Yes, I am familiar with how manufacturers are using/selling the data that is collected via our vehicles.
However, my question remains. If this bothers someone so much, why would they not just purchase an older vehicle where this is not (or at least less of) a concern? Just seems like an odd...
I will simply never understand the thought process behind purchasing a modern vehicle with modern features (like OTA updates), then disabling said features because you are afraid of them.
Why not just... buy a previous generation Mustang without this?
For us Arizona folks, this is a killer alternative to sticking a camera to the windshield just for the adhesive to melt and end up on the dashboard/floor by the end of the week.
Huge bonus points for it looking like an OEM piece. I can't imagine that anyone near the vehicle would ever even...
I realize that this question was directed at Ryan, but I can confirm that the installation of the Fitcamx is incredibly simple. Took me less than 30 minutes all together, and the majority of that time was spent orienting the cables in such a way that they wouldn't get pinched and/or trying to...
I believe so; seems like it does a combination of both. Thanks.
Now I'll just be waiting waiting for my 256GB SD card to show up so I can replace the 64GB one that was included.
I've come across some conflicting information online about how the camera button actually functions on this model. Are you able to verify if hitting it just takes a photo? Does it also lock the video file that is currently being recorded so that it cannot be overwritten by the loop recording...
Thanks. A quick skim of that thread shows that this seems to be affecting... one person?
Why make an entirely new thread for a discussion that already exists, and then not even reference the original post...?
This recall is already being thoroughly discussed on here. Pick your poison:

I'm struggling to find the beef that people seem to have with this addendum. If you have opted to default on the loan that you signed up for, then obviously Ford Motor Credit is going to want that vehicle back.
Maybe just uh... make those car payments on time so you don't have to worry about this?
For anyone who is currently overreacting to this recall to the point of wanting to throw their entire Mustang away, I will gladly provide a one-time offer to rehome these vehicles free of charge.
Just have it shipped directly to my driveway and I'll take care of the rest. It's the least I can do.
I believe the most recent OTA update was Powertrain Control Module related (PT-25.13.1), at least for mine.
I'm assuming that may be the cause this time around, versus other OTA updates. Curious to hear if anyone else was affected.
I actually attended the Road Course version of the Mustang Unleashed program last week (8/13).
If you can work one of the available event dates into your schedule, I would absolutely recommend it. The instructors were fantastic to work with and you will most certainly walk away with more...
This post seems... entirely unnecessary? I would have to imagine that there is a separate thread dedicated to manual shift knobs if you're feeling envious.
I believe UPR, Hurst, and Barton all make pistol grip style options for the automatics.
It seems that most options that fit the S550 in...
Unfortunately, I was not. After trying to outsmart that incredibly frustrating design for a few minutes, and finding no help online, I finally threw in the towel to avoid actually breaking it beyond repair (and then needing to replace the entire valve cover, apparently).
Good news is, you...
I tend to have issues with my photos posting successfully on 7G, but I'll certainly give it another shot. Here's a close-up view of this molded plastic collar around the base of the PCV Valve, similar to what Doug shared previously in this thread. The 'damage' was nothing major, just some...
