I'm baffled, doesn't the engine wear down substantially quicker at those temps? How Ford is ok with making a car like this is confusing. I don't even have any intentions of ever taking it to the track either.
Ford: Let's make a street car with capabilities to go to the track (all of the apps in...
So then after a few pulls Ford just expects you to slow down since the car will reach 280F and will go into limp mode?
Isn't that an unusable car? It was designed for this type of driving. I'm not even going hard for 30 min or an hour. It's literally 10 min - 15 min.
But then if it reaches 280 the car will go into limp mode. So it was designed to be used hard for 10-15 min and then you have to let the temperatures go down? Or was it designed to run hot and the seals won’t be compromised?
After about 10 min of hard pulls on the highway (manual trans), my engine oil temp goes up to 273, and then I'd back down because i know at 280 it will go into limp mode. I took it to the dealership and they told me they will change the oil to Mobile (i'm assuming full synthetic) at next oil...
What did Ford reply with when you told them that it reached 280? Mine reached 273 after some pulls, it probably would have reached 280 as well. I was going to bring it in and see what Ford says to me.
I have this exact same noise, I didn't know it wasn't supposed to be there. How many time did you bring it back to the dealership with this issue before you went after them through lemon law? My clutch pedal also squeaks which they said they fixed today but it's still there.
I’ve been using 93 and I even filled it up at shell, turned off AC and still feel the same at 6k. I took it into service so I’ll keep everyone updated on what it might be.
it’s feeling when I’m driving under WOT. You can feel the car slightly stop pulling, it mainly happens in 2nd gear.
No I don’t have dynograph, I just notice on all dynos torque seems to go downwards.
Anyone else experience a slight drop in power at 6,000 RPM? I do see on dyno graphs online that torque does drop off at 6,000 RPM so maybe it's because of that? This is on a 6 speed MT trans.
I just bought a 2025 400A Mustang GT package and I am wondering if it's possible to upgrade to 401A features on the steering wheel through FORscan? I know I'd have to get a 401A steering wheel with the 2 functioning buttons for the adaptive cruise control. I'd be fine with having any functions...
Agree on the 401A package but I really dislike the empty 2 buttons on the left side steering wheel. I am trying to figure out a way through forscan to have those working. I don't think buttons on a premium trim should be empty.
