  1. No sound, display shows radio and nav working

You're probably right, but since I've got nothing planned, it doesn't hurt to schmooze a bit with the service guys so they remember me as a good guy instead of a complainer the next time I need something. Thanks all for your comments!
  2. Installing a 125v plug (replace the cigarette lighter outlet with an 110 outlet?)

Sounds like a proposal for a "Just Rolled In" video to me. Don't try this at home!
  3. No sound, display shows radio and nav working

Got in and turned on accessories this morning and everything's working after sitting overnight. Still taking it in tomorrow to do a general check for anything stupid like a loose connection, but I think it was a Sync system glitch.
  4. No sound, display shows radio and nav working

Thanks. The guy didn't say what he tried, so I don't know if he did a reboot. I'll give it a try tomorrow.
  5. No sound, display shows radio and nav working

I will try it again after sitting overnight, but not getting my hopes up.
  6. No sound, display shows radio and nav working

2024 GT premium bought in May 2024. This morning I got in, turned on accesories to get the seat in position, then started the car. Speakers are completely silent, but display shows radio and nav working, volume going up and down with the controls. I tried shutting down and restarting to no...
  7. Ceramic window tint

This is an example of how you have to read between the lines with AI answers. If the tint percent is the same, visibility is the same, but the ceramic is supposed to have better heat and UV rejection for the same tint percent.
  8. Vanity License Plates

In Illinois I had RTRO RKT on a 2003 Mercury Marauder and carried over to a 2013 Mustang. They would allow the space without counting it as a letter or number. In Arizona, that was taken, and I now have ITSMYRV, on the generic plate design, so I'm paying a vanity fee but not an affinity...
  9. What Did You Drive Before?

My list looks a bit goofy because it was: 1966: A $400 used Ford sedan, blue with one green fender - something to get me to my first job out of college while I saved up for a new car. It smoked from the crankcase breather and once at a stop light a lady honked and hollered "Your car is smoking"...
  10. Stereo vs Surround Setting

12 speaker system, coupe - Have been running stereo mode for a year without realizing it. I did an A/B test, especially with some mono tracks from 1930s era recordings, didn't want them to sound wierd. The stereo mode seems to put a bit more volume into the side speakers and a bit less in the...
  11. To Spoil, or Not to Spoil...

This is the first time I've seen one without a spoiler. Maybe a darker color would be less startling. I think I prefer with spoiler, but then again, this look sure stands out from the crowd. So, I'm no help!
  12. Do you have this from iside of your door panel?

If I shine a flashlight in from down low, I can catch a tiny bit on driver's side, but not in regular light from above. Nothing like what you have. (2024 GT)
  13. Stereo vs Surround Setting

I've got quite a few early big band and New Orleans jazz tracks (mono, of course). Now I'm wondering if Surround would be better or worse (confining it to center ?). Have to give it a try.
  14. What's the percentage of tint are on our Mustangs?

I took another look at the Mustang generation silhouettes, and they are not as hidden as I remembered - they look about like what has been posted. The things that are no longer visible are the static-cling Route 66 decals I used to put in the quarter windows, and now have put in the junk box.
  15. Which setting is your favorite one for the adjustable exhaust?

NORMAL for default, except QUIET from 10 pm until 8 am. Louder modes when I deliberately choose. I live two doors from the feeder road, so don't have to worry too much about annoying all the neighbors on the block.
  16. What's the percentage of tint are on our Mustangs?

The dealer pre-loaded my 2024 GT with dark-looking side and rear tint, none on the front as far as I can tell. I'm sure it's cheap stuff, but it looks OK. I don't know the percents, but I assume they stayed within Arizona limits. The one thing I don't like about it is it's impossible to see the...
  17. 5 Reasons Why The Base Mustang GT Is Better Than The Darkhorse!

But you did address it to everybody.
  18. What should i do?

Why is no one mentioning the oil life monitor? My practice has been to change oil when the monitor gets down to 25 -20%, seems to work well. 2013 Mustang 6 cylinder when driven 15,000 miles per year, this happened at 7000 miles. Now that I have a 2024 GT driven less than 5000 miles per year, it...
  19. Rattle/Creaking above head drivers side

Also good to have someone ride with you and listen. I have had rattles in the past that I swore were coming from a certain area, but were really somewhere else, and you couldn't tell with the limited position of your head while driving.
  20. Windshield glare from dashboard

No tint, polarized clip-ons do it for me.
