For a speedometer, maybe, especially if the velocity of the vehicle is relatively the same while watching . But for anything else where interpreting the fast rate of changes to a value, a analog-like display with a needle is largely superior.
Assuming this thread is about Gauges, not just...
Great input, thoughts and numbers!
One other thing worth mentioning, which swayed me against doing PPF: if you are buying this as a forever car whatever the reason (last ICE, NA V8, MT ā¦), know that the PFF does not last forever. You will need to replace the PPF in 10-15 years. And Iāll rather...
Both are right. You asked about the S650. And he asked you to chill a bit.
And without looking at you userid, I recognized you as I skimmed through the comments and saw the quickly escalating tone.
Those preproduction PP cars are not consumer cars. They must be crushed at some point before MP - Mass Production. I donāt know if it is because of a law or for other long term concerns.
Between PP and MP, there is TT - Tooling Trials. Those, I believe, are not necessarily crushed. But...
I ordered a 2022 Mustang through Granger Ford, and my vehicle was delivered about 3-4 months after the build week.
My guess is that there are not a lot of convoy to Iowa happening during the winter. So the car seated on a factory parking lot for 3 months (Dec-Jan-Feb) before freezing...
If you dont care about tracking the car, then there is no inferiority complex to have. It's hard to find a day track that accepts convertible without rollbars. Also, from a CX coefficient point of view, the coupe is much more slick and therefore slightly faster on a track or a strip. Nobody will...
My MT-82 in my 2011 was excellent. It would block me from getting into a gear a couple of times a year, but that was it.
My 2022 Tremec is doing it once a week at least, and getting into third can be a fight. Which is weird since 3rd gear has always been the easiest gear to get into on all...
I think it is more due to the position of the Sun and the shadows on a white body. But the scar connection between the headlight and the wheel looks like it was done by a rogue plastic surgeon. It feels like the 2 pieces belonged to 2 different cars and they got stitched together in haste...
I have not seen real leather in this type of cars for a while. When it is there, it looks like leather, but it isnāt. Even the big brands use real leather only in their top end classes. Below, it is āleatheretteā, āleather accentsā, āindulgent leather interiorā and āsynthetic leatherā. All...
The price increase since April ā22 is tough to swallow on a Mach1 ā and yes as a result on the DH. But there has been a ~10% inflation since, so that is arguably justified.
The Mach1 price prior to April ā22 was right to me, and far below the GT500.
You can get a premium Mach1 for around 82-85k CAD now. And likely around 80k CAD or below in 6 months.
You need to make yourself be happy one way or another with the 5K-10k difference, or you should buy the Mach1 instead of a DH.
