  1. Anybody wrapped area between tail lights black?

Mine's not a wrap... it's an aftermarket plastic piece. I think I'd prefer a wrap, though, since once the plastic starts to get swirls marks there isn't much you can do about it. My goal was to TRY and make the black on the decklid match the black of the tail lights as close as possible.
  2. Gave my GT a nose job - paint matched front trim bar and headlight bezels

The little "safety" lights were my worry on Daisy... I was afraid they'd stand out and look weird. But they're not really that noticeable on your dark red (at least in pictures). I had my holes wrapped over, so they're completely hidden during the day, and kinda glow a neat cool blue at night...
  3. Gave my GT a nose job - paint matched front trim bar and headlight bezels

Nice! Daisy didn't have a good "before" picture for comparison, because she started out black... you couldn't really see the "fake grill" portions. I like seeing those pictures side-by-side. (And mine was WRAPPED - much less cursing involved where the color meets the grill). The new...
  4. Daisy’s First Photo Shoot

Gorgeous! I wish I had your photography skills. Your black paint looks infinitely deeper than mine. And the red inner door piping should compliment to the exterior pinstripes perfectly. I hope you're happy with your headlight blackout... your '24 has the chrome lights, which might just peep...
  5. Daisy’s First Photo Shoot

I dunno if that's your ride in the picture, but it looks like Daisy's coupe sibling (before she got all blue-ified). Now all you need are some Redback Spider center caps for your wheels! (My stock wheels look kinda like a web!)
  6. Daisy’s First Photo Shoot

Ah-HA! I found a pic of Daisy with the chrome pony on her rear decklid! Here she is next to Ol' Red, her 2014 GT brother. Red is a convertible too... he's got a very rare removable hardtop. (My "winter" car, as much as a Mustang can be considered a winter car...).
  7. Daisy’s First Photo Shoot

Yes, my ponies were red. True chrome is what I had wanted originally. I had bought a replacement pair of badges to do just that. Access to the front pony requires removal of the grill, so I figured they could install the chromed ponies when they wrapped the vehicle. Unfortunately, it was...
  8. Daisy’s First Photo Shoot

The headlights are a pre-cut film I bought that my wrap guys installed for me when they did the blue. They look nice enough, but when it comes time to replace them, I'm gonna look into professional paint tint - the film is kinda satin at most, not shiny. She goes to her first Cars 'n' Coffee...
  9. Body-Color Front Bumper

Actually, I specifically had the center "bar" on my hood vent matched to the stripe so it was more obvious it was not stock... it's the RTR vent. The Mustang hood is kinda flat and plain in my opinion. (I wish the center hump was a little higher). If I "concealed" the vent by completely...
  10. Daisy’s First Photo Shoot

I checked my Etsy purchase history. The shop I used is closed. There are still quite a few, though who will let you submit your own art. Try to find one that offers a ton of SIZES as well, so you can find a good fit. There's one called "CarLabStudio" that looks very similar to the one I...
  11. Body-Color Front Bumper

P.S. I also like the new hood with the larger bulge. I wonder if it'd fit my car. (Probably not. It looks like it has the external hood anchor buttons there).
  12. Body-Color Front Bumper

I LOVE the new Darkhorse SC front end without the "bandit mask" paint job. I'm not a fan at all of the "fake grill" black painted bumper design phase. The first two pics below are the new Darkhorse SC. The last is how I modded my '25 GT to cover the black sections. I LOVE how it came out...
  13. Manual?

My experience is similar to yours. My last manual was probably 30 years ago. Dunno why I changed to automatics. But I retired recently, and when I decided to reward myself with a new car, I remembered how much I used to enjoy driving stick. Occasional back, hip, and leg issues plague me...
  14. Best wheel cleaner solution and method

I have the big performance pack Brembos, which seemingly shed brake dust just sitting still at a stop light. My aftermarket wheels consist of part powder-coated paint, part brushed aluminum, and part actual chrome. The most important thing is to use a ceramic coat (or similar) at least every...
  15. What is the best security system?

In addition to the Ford security package, I also use this. It's becoming more and more reliable protection in the U.S.A. with each passing year. (I'm surprised I'm the first to mention it).
  16. Vanity License Plates

Wow! 8 characters! I'm jealous. And they don't look squashed either.

  18. Daisy’s First Photo Shoot

Thanks! She received her share of attention at the Cars ‘n’ Coffee this weekend. Can’t wait to see what you do with yours! Let me know if you have any questions.

Where did the original topic go?
  20. Stereo vs Surround Setting

Whatever the technical reasons, it DEFINITELY lets the subwoofer do its job much better for me when I put it in Stereo mode.
