Engine dress up is very cool. If you are just gonna do CAI I wouldn't bother. But if you are gonna upgrade other components over time, then go for it, especially if you are keeping the car. I upgraded my 2006 GT engine components over time and I love it.
One of the biggest surprises of buying a DH was going to Charlotte and repeatedly jamming on the brakes to go from 130MPH to 40MPH to hit that hairpin turn coming off the oval, scared me to death. Then coming back home and taking my DH to the mountains and feeling so comfortable in the car...
Well if you have a garage. Like to spend time washing the car. In a place with decent year around weather. I say go for it. But those darker colors take more commitment.
There has been a huge amount of opinions on the DH vs 350 vs Mach vs 5.0. But you are the only person I believe I have heard from that has driven the DH and the 350 so finally a balanced opinion. Most people just talking from published specs and youtube reviews.
Great comparison. I can't wait until I can get the opportunity to drive a 350. I have a friend of a friend who has one so there is a good chance. Your review also is similar to the DH Track Attack staff when I asked them to compare the two cars.
So I am almost certain your Brembo calipers has the writing in gold. I can't imagine this is stock. Please give details on this and how you did it. Looks awesome.
Well compare it to your GT350R! Let's hear your opinions.
My 2006 GT with LTH is so loud I just appreciate the refinement of the DH. Everything is so about what you are looking for. But, the handling to me is there. I did a Lotus track day with an Evora and the DH feels right up there. I...
One thing I have learned is that the expensive variants for any car brand are really targeted to those with a budget and love for the car. Meaning I love Mustangs and I saved for years waiting for the DH. IMO just as long as it was good as the Mach 1 I would be good. I don't like the styling...
I will admit it's mostly about looks for me. Like RebelMan (I think) I went from a S197 to the Dark Horse. My S197 has very few stock parts still on it. The suspension was done first. Anyway, the Dark Horse represented the best looking Mustang I have seen in a while plus the suspension is...
I did the Dark Horse Track Attack. Two of the best days driving ever. If you have the time and budget, just do it. Don't worry about how long it's been, they have good instructors.
For me some of the Shelbys and an occasional S650 will acknowledge. My daily is a 2019 STI and we always acknowledge each other. Even older models. Even on a 4 lane highway with a median we will wave big or flash high beams.

I paid $1200.00. That included insurance. Very easy process. I had it shipped in December 2023. As you can see it's in a private trailer. That's what you want. The OP needs to call and get a quote. Negotiate if necessary, the prices aren't set in stone. I...
Sometimes when I am in these situations I ask for the "first right of refusal." It's not a guarantee (unless you can get it in writing). If they find a buyer, they call you to see if you want to move forward, if not they sell the car. If they find no buyer, you are good until you can buy the...
I like small convertibles like a S2000 or Miat
I largely agree with this. But I do like and would love to have a small convertible like S2000s and Miatas. I wouldn't want a Mustang or Vette convertible.
