Well sure.
As long as you donāt mind going through a pre-flight ritual before every key cycle and/or consulting the online only encyclopedic ownerās manual every time something new pops up.
Personally I mind and attempt to avoid it if possible.
Iād be pleasantly shocked if it were a [NA] upgraded V8; itād have to be 575+ hp to get anybodyās attention and Ford has shown thatās kinda getting into the edgy zone of long-term warrantable reliability. So that pretty much leaves the 750 hp supercharged thing, which is becoming old hat...
After only two years? I sure wouldnāt think so. Whatās to be gained by going to the expense? Like them or not, the S650 still looks fresh and new alongside a ā23. And the supposed sales slowdown that seems to be a recent favorite topic in these parts certainly isnāt attributable to dated...
Yeah simultaneous to that message mine somehow spews out the aroma of fresh brewed coffee.
Well, kinda. My wifeās Subie will do it soon as the engineers figure out how.
To quote myself from a couple months back:
I find it counterintuitive that anyone with a V-8 performance car would leave any driver assist turned on if it could reasonably be disabled. Maybe leave on a little dab of ESC.
If I can turn off the junk and still drive it at 75 Iāll bet you can...
OK, Iām officially confused.
While yes, there were verifiable gains IFRC up to ~17 or so HP with the S550, I thought it had been shown on the dyno that zero HP gains were to be had by carbon trap removal in the S650.
Maybe Iām watching the wrong YouTube channel but these guys seemed pretty...
OP, Ken H. here may say heās no expert but he sure seems to me to know what heās talking about. While I have no experience with his Michelin recommendation and am not doubting what he says, I will say that in my many years of owning and driving high performance vehicles I have never come close...
That looks great!
Did the wheels come that way, did you DIY it or did you have somebody do it for you? If a shop did it could you share who/where in GA you had it done?
Thanks.
Glad you got it straightened out but I have read your comments along in this thread and I just have to ask: is your temper really so bad that you seemed ready to pop your cork over this? I mean, your ābody was furiousā? Hard for me to understand.
People eff stuff up all the time; in fact I...
And here you go, this right here. Iām guessing this poster is fairly young and many would in fact say careless and impulsive. Well Iām in my mid 70s and just did about the same thing. Probably worse, actually. Sometimes you just gotta say eff it.
Enjoy it in good health my friend. You done good!
18 month wait? What? I realize it takes a little longer to order a car (assuming thatās what you did) but 18 months?
Whatever the deal was I applaud your patience. I saw my black 6MT one online one morning just goofing around on the internet and noticed it was on the showroom floor 20 miles...
I was thinking this was the case.
I acknowledge that confirmation bias is a real thing but Iām glad I went ahead with ā24s. And Iām a very poor waiter, no patience at all.
Same car, less $.
Have there been any actual 2025 Dark Horse HP cars spotted in the wilds yet, or maybe better put anybody actually have one? I obviously know there are non-HP DHs being delivered but wasnāt sure about the HP cars. Thatās kinda why I grabbed ā24s when I found them, being impatient and not knowing...
Iāve said that exact same thing many, many times. It was usually about the Mach 1 but same deal. Then I actually bought one. Those words give me indigestion every day. Iāve never experienced a car like this.
The HP is a lot more than bigger wheels and tires. And no, mine donāt go near a track.
Wonder if this junk is not installed on the ā24 Dark Horse? I havenāt noticed it.
Seems like itād be pretty inconvenient on the track, especially if you did a key cycle and had to go searching through the corn-maze inspired menus to turn it off.
Truly I despise every little bit of this forced...
