  1. Gear indicator on A10 automatic....

I have two A10s, one 2020 GT and one 2023 Mach 1. Both cars have always displayed which gear you’re in regardless of whether the shifter is in ā€œDā€, or you’re paddle shifting or whatever. The indicator seems very accurate as you watch it shifting through the gears up or down. My guess is that...
  2. One big stripe

I personally kinda dig it. But then…
  3. Well.. not accepting delivery šŸ˜”

Everybody’s thinking this so I’ll go ahead and say it: if you don’t see a problem yourself on a reasonable inspection then you likely don’t have one. It’s easy to get oversensitized and make yourself miserable. Don’t ask how I know. These cars weren’t painted by Kindig in the first place so...
  4. Just took delivery of my Mustang GT premium

I’d say you have accomplished your stated goal and then some. I have a 2023 Mach 1 in GB and the black trim and accents against the paint really pop. You made good choices!
  5. Just picked up! Carbonized GT convertible

Beautiful! The black pkg and red calipers make it pop!
  6. S650 No Lift Shift

OK. But what’s a power pack?
  7. S650 No Lift Shift

Gotcha. I didn’t think it was new either but I was only going back to the ā€˜60s when 4-speeds were the de facto performance option. If you couldn’t power shift you couldn’t win a race. We all worshipped at the throne of Grumpy Jenkins and his contempora and best of all a pit pass was peanuts at...
  8. S650 No Lift Shift

All pretty accurate but I don’t get the point of the tutorial. It seemed this thread was alway about manual shifting. Anyway…
  9. S650 No Lift Shift

I guess I’m just not comprehending something from your post. Iā€˜ve never known or heard of anyone who ever lifted between shifts with an automatic. Youā€˜d never know exactly when the shift was coming anyway.
  10. S650 No Lift Shift

You do realize we’re talking about manual transmission cars here, right? Other than the electronic nannies there’s not anything new about the no lift shit concept. It’s kinda funny that people think it’s the newest, coolest thing. Back in the day it was a lot simpler and we just called it...
  11. Insane 0-60

At what revs did you shift? Stock 3.55s?
  12. Insane 0-60

Seriously, wouldn’t this be like a worlds record?
  13. S650 slow......what's the truth???

Thereā€˜s no evidence that they do. Just conversation. Corvettes and 911s, yep.
  14. Ambient lighting info?

Here in GA we refer to that as the ASR, or Artillery Storage Receptacle. We like to keep it dark to maintain the element of surprise.
  15. Ambient lighting info?

Glovebox light has historically been the #1 cause of dead batteries. If a car had one first thing I did was pull the bulb.
  16. Palm Beach Dyno x Triple Seven Dyno Results for 2024 Dark Horse!

The PBD guy does seem a little confused. It’s disconcerting if you’re a 650 owner or prospective buyer looking for something to hang your hat on. Having said that, it’s the first authoritative good news I’ve seen about the power output of the 650 and I’m happy for you 650 folks. Y’all have...
  17. S650 slow......what's the truth???

They beef up the rods in the DH? That’s surprising, I didn’t know that.
  18. Anyone's S650 come with some scratches/swirls from the dealership?

Probably, but each case is different. Itā€˜s sad the way many dealers prep cars for delivery. It just takes one dirty bucket or one dirty cloth to impart swirls and scratches. Depending on how bad they are you may want to take it back to show them, but your best bet is likely to engage a pro...
  19. S650 slow......what's the truth???

I hope y’all are right about some [presumably break-in] miles causing your cars to run stronger. When I thought I had noticed this happening myself in the past and posted about it I pretty much was advised that it was my imagination...
  20. 4500 rpm limiter

Thatā€˜s a great response but unfortunately it has nothing whatsoever to do with the short post of mine that you quoted. I believe I’ll yield to whatever helpful information you choose to put up.
