Right exhaust tip on my 2026 GT extends 1/2 inch farther out than the left tip. Can this be adjusted by loosening a clamp and sliding it back? It's not active exhaust.

When I installed axle-backs on my '25 GT and '26 GT, the right side stuck out 1/2" further, on both cars. I inspected closer on my '26, and the whole right side of the exhaust sits 1/2" further back, at least starting after the resonator/midpipe. I looked closely at the exhaust hanger in the middle of the car near the differential, and the right side metal hanger pokes out 1/2" further than the left side. I suspect at the factory Ford's design/build process is such that these just end up slightly misaligned by chance, or all of them might be like that. Similar to how when people install rear suspension mods they find the rear subframes aren't perfectly squared to the car. These cars are sloppily slapped together as cheap/quick as possible so there are a lot of loose tolerances.

Thanks for the very comprehensive response. Guess I'll have to live with it.m
