So I was able to find some brand new take off Illuminated Door Sills for $50ish dollars on EBay- brand new still with the blue tape on them.
Also upgraded the poor quality factory floor mats to the Ford Performance 60 Oz mats- and I can see why they are so expensive. They are more like house carpet than floor mats
.
With points and 20% off code I got them for $130ish which I was happy with!
Nice upgrade for my 25 301A PP AE!
I can also confirm that on the 301A the wiring is there for the Illuminated Door Sills, however the car refuses to activate them without ForScan or FDRS/IDS.
My son is a master Ford Tech and is going to try and activate them on Monday when we have the rear window replaced under warranty.
Easy to install- however that Ford build quality shone through again⦠when we took off the Driver side door sill, the blue tape was still covering the double sided tacky strip that was supposed to tape the sill to the metal frame.

Anyway- cheap upgrades for a nice result!
