Because the 4.6 3v has the legendary sbf/modular exhaust note and some simple mods can bring it up to speed; I remember when Brenspeed managed a 12.60 with one on slicks, 4.10's and a CAI+93 octane tune.
You'll never bring the 4.6 3v up to the level of a Coyote. The only redeeming quality of that engine is the exhaust note. Which is good, but not THAT good. Choosing between a 2010 and 2011 is a no-brainer.

Yeah; off subject but what isn't a no-brainer is scooping up a 4v new edge which can at least be brought up to factory Coyote levels and in the case of the Termi, at least as high up as the current Sleeper Pack. Combine that with the legendary exhaust note, true toploader and less Forscan-dependent overtechnology and yup.

Which leads me back to the million dollar question...why are you looking at S650s and posting so much in this forum. Clearly these cars are made in the wrong decade and not for you.

Yup I change my mind every day.

Some days I want a PP/DH for the Coyote and the warranty, but after the warranty-friendly mods are done it's just waiting around to change the oil. Although my s197 will always need something and I'm keeping it.

Some days I want a gen-1 for the original Mustang experience

Some days I want a new edge for the gen I missed out on and the strong 4v engine

Never happy. I guess work better go well enough for me to get all three and refinish my current to boot
