Trunk floor into an Amp rack

I decided to make a new trunk floor to show off the amps I used on the audio build from a while back. Started with a used 1/4" sheet of plywood I had, and 3/4 plywood for the walls of the box opening. If i had to do it again, I'd maybe spring for an ABS sheet to cut up instead. But it's my 1st attempt and I think it looks pretty good. Some in progress pictures and full install in there as well.

I keep thinking about doing some audio work, but I’m torn. I don’t have the factory sub, and the stock 9-speaker system is a bit lacking in the low end. I’ve added subs to every other vehicle I’ve had so I will probably do something…

Hey thanks. The B&O was lacking as well, so i went a bit SQL with this. The wiring is easy enough to get access to, at least in my case since it was all but the tweeters in the trunk. Go for it!

Nice work, glad to see there are options to upgrade our systems. I have the B+O also and find it just okay but very little low end... what all did you change out aside from the obvious, how does it all sound and was there a lot of work to be done on a laptop to make it all work properly? I have some JL Audio equipment that I plan to use and want to do OEM integration as well

Hey thanks! Well I did replace every cabin speaker so that helps. I used the build threads in the infotainment area to get ideas etc.. but the DSP setup isn't terrrrrrrribly complicated but I also have done the real tuning aspect yet. I simply have some time alignment and equipment curves set, but it sounds noticeably better.
