I have mine routed to the cubby arm rest. I fished the wires under the center console with the tweeter wires. Popped a small hole for the cable, and double sided tape sticks it to the plastic. Removable with some patience too.
I am also curious if you can send a link to the Ebay posting, that box looks like a great fit. I'm always looking for ways to tweak my setup and that might be the ticket.
That's awesome man, glad you are still building. Your OG thread got me going on my build as well.
What Box volume do you have for those subs?I checked the link and it didn't mention it, only the subs you could get.
I also ended up having to get some fans to cool the amps, hopefully yours are...
Hey thanks. Looks like maybe the part number was updated: Steering Wheel Radio Controls - Ford (PR3Z-9C888-CA) from OEM Parts online using the browser, which is why I asked b/c I simply couldn't find anything. How are the buttons holding up with the clear?
Oh that big boy, here ya go!
One thing to note, I wouldn't use PLA for it if you are in any southern area with hot temps, it will deform and make it very difficult to remove the spare tire screw.
Hey thanks! Well I did replace every cabin speaker so that helps. I used the build threads in the infotainment area to get ideas etc.. but the DSP setup isn't terrrrrrrribly complicated but I also have done the real tuning aspect yet. I simply have some time alignment and equipment curves set...
Hey thanks. The B&O was lacking as well, so i went a bit SQL with this. The wiring is easy enough to get access to, at least in my case since it was all but the tweeters in the trunk. Go for it!
I decided to make a new trunk floor to show off the amps I used on the audio build from a while back. Started with a used 1/4" sheet of plywood I had, and 3/4 plywood for the walls of the box opening. If i had to do it again, I'd maybe spring for an ABS sheet to cut up instead. But it's my 1st...
I believe a GT.. fully loaded, should be 60k .. It stops making sense after 75k unless it's truly a collectible car. Afterall, it IS just a mustang.
The GTs/GT40s were ones I could understand. The GTD? Super cool, would love to own, not at 300k.
Anything over 100k I just sigh and know ill never...
Oh for sure the m2 is special, I just don't think it's special enough to live with the suspension for daily driving, but I was giving it a very hard look
The dh is special.. even today I have only seen 1 other in my area, 2 others in the region, and people still come up and ask about it...
I doubt any domestic brands offer any kind of "great service".. it's not a Ferrari, or Porche, etc. With that, I haven't been treated any less than i would call acceptable at any dealer or service department in many years.. YMMV of course, but at the end of the day, it is just a Ford.
Now, I...
Red Rocket has a good write up, but I too went with the AMP Pro AP4. I wired mine up to a 6ch DSP amp that has sub control and output to a separate sub amp. I had the factory B&O with Sub but I gutted that out. I also removed the center channel speaker, as not much out there will actually use...
Miles and Miles of wires for all the new computers to talk to each other adds a LOT of weight, but with that, I took the car from Central Florida to Baltimore, and it is SUPER comfy the entire trip. Driving on the FL highways is comfy as well, but when I want to, I can tighten it up via track...
Thank you so much for this. Super simple and quick to do. Follow up question: Do you think Either ANC or ESE adds or has a subsonic filter on the built in EQ? I tried looking and can't find anything.
I have also purchased from Mullinax.. The Only (at the time) Grabber Blue DH without handling package/Recaro's with 10spd, that wasn't 10+k over sticker.. I think they had a 5k markup that they were up front about. Car was in Miami, they trucked it to Orlando so we could drive over to get it...
