Just a handful of passes, I replaced the stock driver side axle with a gt350 one. (That’s the weak link)

maybe make some trips out to the track this spring in a few weeks, my car is really just a 9 second street car, which was the goal, just fun quick cruiser.
No need to break stuff or go crazy fast.

I got into golf last year, it’s cheaper and more fun than racing, while getting to compete with friends.

When I took my Whipple to The dragsfirst time it took forever sitting in the pits trying to get the temperature down from like 210. It was ridiculous. How do you cool your down? Do you do it in the quicker?

Maybe climate dependent, I’m in Michigan, so i only go to the track if it’s gonna be negative D/A up to maybe 1K D/A.

Air is everything, temp is never a problem, I can make a pass, park, watch some races, and then when I see the lane is slow I’ll line up and make a pass again.

I usually only race if it’s like 45* to maybe low 60s and sunny.

Once it’s 70* and sunny it’s not worth it, by then D/A is 2K plus… and I’ll just watch the nitrous/turbo cars run and hang out.
