Here's what a muffler delete sounded like. SR Performance (American Muscle's house brand) axle-back for S550, but I don't recommend because the tips cracked apart after a few weeks

Just installed a Pypes touring axle-back on my '26 GT. Had a muffler delete (video above) and Roush axle-back on my '25 GT so I can compare.

The sound level of the Pypes is say ~15% quieter than the Roush. I'd describe it like the Roush with the sharp edges of the sound rounded off. No drone at all that I've noticed (whereas the Roush did have some) and less raspy than the Roush, but it will still make that BLAAT sound w/high throttle. The Roush was a little too loud for me, and this might just be perfect. Quality/fit/finish is not as good as the Roush though.

Overall not bad for ~$500, I would recommend this product if you're having a shop install it so they can make sure things line up right, etc.

This was the resonated HH pipe with the FP Extreme muffler. It sounded great. I have since installed a full Corsa Extreme catback - only because I can’t leave well-enough-alone .
