I’ve recently swapped my s550 for a dark horse, I had a H pipe on my s550 and I really miss it!
Because I got my dark horse brand new I don’t want to void the warranty, I’ve spoke to Ford and they’ve told me if I find a ‘Ford approved’ garage to fit the H pipe it will be fine?
Can anyone help me finding one, I’m based in Derbyshire if that helps.

Thank you, I might contact Ford and just see where they stand on it. If they won’t care then that’s brilliant news

Who ever told you that adding an H-pipe would void the warranty, was pulling your leg! I agree with robvas Ford won’t care about anything past the cats, but have fun with your new car, congrats!

Cat-backs ruin your warranty in the UK?
Generally speaking any car mod made during the warranty period won’t affect the warranty in the UK unless it’s the part that has been modded that causes an issue to something else that otherwise would be covered by the warranty.
Some dealers are also less friendly than others in this regard.

Cat-backs ruin your warranty in the UK?
from my brief looking, the UK doesn't really have the equivalent of the US Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, or more specifically, no legal requirement that a garage connects the modification to the failure. it seems to be mostly based on what's connected. so doing an H pipe and having your infotainment go out should have no issues, but on the same mod having issues with active exhaust may lead to more friction.

but it's also worth noting that i could be completely wrong. i may have misread something or misinterpreted something, but it seems that UK residents are on a much more slippery warranty slope than US residents.
