2025 GT premium. First mustang and the worst vehicle I’ve bought (I’ve had over 15 cars/SUV’s). Ford does the over the air updates and it erases key features I had set. Quiet exhaust mode does not stay set to the times I set it. Now after the update the ambient light feature is no longer in settings, where did it go, I hav no idea. Crappy interior materials that have scratched, and I’m a clean freak and keep my cars spotless, all with ceramic coat and PPF, so I care about paint and interior cleanliness. I could go on with the other few little annoyances but I’ll end my rant as I feel better telling the world ha. Thanks for reading
I understand what you are saying. I'm on my third Mustang with a brief detour in a Dodge Charger 392 that was fun when driving in a straight line. All three Mustangs have been just ok with interior quality. The Apple Car Play has been problematic in my current Mustang. Super frustrating. But, at the end of the day, I kept buying Mustangs because I like the design, the Coyote engine, and, for the money, it is a car that I personally look for reasons to drive. Need milk, excellent, grocery store run in the Mustang. Garage door is open, awesome, time to drive the Mustang. If I wanted higher quality components, I'd probably go European. But, for me, its Mustang, 7 days per week.

Hopefully you will end up with something that works great for you. Safe travels.

What a shocker! You mean to tell me the almighty Ford, the undisputed reigning champion of auto recalls, isn't delivering absolute perfection with its $63k price tag?

News flash, the amount of money you spend has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the product. Need an example? How about any Maserati.

You bought the Mustang for a fun car. If you truly cared about quality in a vehicle, you would have got a Camry and saved half the cash you spent on your Mustang.

I had a 2020 2SS and a 2023 ZL1

You must not be very old, the s650 interior is nicer than 90% of cars you would have found in the 90’s- early 2000’s. Yes the plastic every where is cheap and scratches easy, but once you have kids you get TF over that real quick as nothing nice can stay nice lol. The performance is top notch for the price, the handling and stability of the s650 for a 470-500hp rwd car is shockingly good. Now for the price should certain areas be better?( paint, interior materials, rattles) absolutely, the interior quality even in their cheapest f150s is night and day better. But as its been stated we all new what we were buying before we bought it, a fast car that sounds great, with a 6 speed gear box and a shitty but liveable interior, from a company with more recalls than everyone. I am assuming you have a manual, if you drive an auto go sell it and buy a lexus is500 that will solve your quality issues.

Come on guys, have a heart in this New Year. Doesn't every single one of us have something that drives us nuts about our cars. I know I do. I'm sure OP doesn't expect absolute perfection but he has things that bother him and he's just expressing his frustration. Making fun of his situation is really unkind and unnecessary.

I'll go $1,500.00.

Kidding, kidding, I'm sorry. :lipssealed:

I must agree to some extent that Ford cuts corners with its interior. Their “Premium“ seats are upscale vinyl, upscale, but still vinyl. And it isn’t to save money so much as saving an animal. The tilt-tele steering wheel is manual. Mopar has power tilt-tele. Ford’s sound systems are sub-par, some of which is limited by Mustang’s size. Magma Ride, or whatever Ford calls it, should be available with any suspension. If Mustang held prices, I could agree with their philosophy, but they haven’t.
