Hi all
Happy New Year andall that jazz :-)

Does anyone know where to source a new battery from for the S650GT? I was able to get one from Halfords for the S550 but cannot find anywhere (other than the local stealer) wher I can purchase one from.

Thanks

Mark

Interesting that you're having battery issues so soon. My Dark Horse is the same. I put it down to the length of time is was sitting in compounds in the US waiting for export.

Car is still under warranty and so is the battery.

I would remove the cover and get the details off the top of it as well as measuring the size. It should be an AGM type I believe.

Problem with mine is that it goes to 'Remote features disabled to preserve battery' after a couple of days in the garage (or some such message), but the battery still works. A long motorway drive will sort it. I reckon if I take it in under warranty, they'll just say it's because I'm not driving it enough.

It is normal - 4 or 5 days in cold weather will do that.

Normal driving at this time of year will not add enough charge. Give it a trickle charge overnight and it will be better

so sorry. Didn't realize I was in the UK section.
Are there no good sources of aftermarket auto parts there?

Related incident. I just bought a new 2025 Explorer ST. Dealer had to put a new battery in day of sale.
Use ‘em or lose ‘em. Or, charge ’em.
