Is there a part number for the GT calibration by Ford or does HP Tuners only have it?
Ford doesn’t make one for the S650 GT. They stopped in 2021. The 2022 and 2023 S550 Mustangs didn’t have the option either because of new emissions equipment (narrower intake tube, carbon trap filter), which is why they also lost 10 hp. But here’s the part number and link for that.

The Part # was M-9603-M8D for the GT and M8DH for the DH but again, sadly they discontinued the process after some Emissions Regulations approval for a GO!!

Last month I bought my new 2025 Ecoboost Nite Pony in Shadow Black and I've been busy tinkering with it. I have a few other things in mind but now that it is getting cold I won't be doing much until Spring. Here it is as it stands at the moment. Since picking it up, I've had the windows tinted (35%), I installed OEM leather covers on the seats, I installed an Air Design front splitter, and I replaced the rear blade spoiler with a GT spoiler. That's it for the appearance stuff I have planned.

My last Mustang was grey and I kind of always wished it had been black. This time around I decided I wanted black on black. As Nigel Tufnel said, how much more black could this be? None.

I am (impatiently) waiting for Ford Performance to drop the 2025 Ecoboost performance tune. I'd rather go with a factory tune to retain the warranty in case I have an EcoBoom. Once I hit 36,000 miles I will see if I decide to go nuts and throw some more bolt-ons at it. It is already a lot of fun to drive for my daily driver, which is what it is. I have a 1971 Torino with a built 351 Cleveland for when I really want to roast tires and make a lot of noise, but this car is faster. I do think this car could use a little more gear than 3.15 so I am strongly considering 3.55's when weather warms up. My Torino has 4.11's and practically zero traction but it is sure fun.
I also have the Shadow Black, and I think it is a beautiful color. It reflects so well that my wife thought a tree fell on your car. Keep it clean, and it will look beautiful forever. I use a ceramic coating that I got at a car show. It doesn't take much to give it a really smooth coating. It is so good that bird poop won't even stick to it, and most dust will disappear just by driving locally. Enjoy your ride! Glenn

Thanks. I have been curious about ceramics but haven’t tried any so far. I have been using Lucas Oil speed wax on it which as you can see does give it a really beautiful shine. I don’t think it offers much in the way of protection but it is quick and easy to apply.

I had some time last night so I installed the paddle shifter wheel I picked up for the car recently and I now have paddle shifting while in Drive.

When I get the motivation I will get into ForScan and enable full manual mode in the “M” position and swap out the shift indicator bezel to the version with “M”.

Good point!

Hmmm... 🤔 I will have to see about that.
If you have Ford Points, you can get discounted or free black lockable nuts free at the Ford Accessories website. I have the same Nite Pony Package on a black EcoBoost and even the Ford app shows the chrome nuts, which makes me think, c'mon you did the badges, why not the wheel nuts... but...

For the Ford Performance Calibration, it looks like it's available at some locations, I'm sure I saw it with a $200 discount for Black Friday EDIT: ahhh this was for the 2024 EcoBoost and that's why I didn't buy it, heh, read better David but most of me thinks that (a) I really don't need it and (b) you still really don't need it. A small part of me is, well, with more low down torque I could save fuel as it'll keep itself in a higher gear some of the time.

Yeah most of me gives that guy a sideways look too!
