You could always use the 60th anniversary wheels.......
Thank you for the feedback, brother, but I'm going to keep the original rims. They cost $1000 more than the original wheels, and are 19-inch instead of 18-inch. Just wanted some opinions on whether to powder coat rims black, gold, or keep silver as is.

Personally I think your silver wheels look great with the standard silver badges. That style emulates the original pony car wheels. I wouldn't change a thing!

I had the luxury of special ordering my car because I insist on the 6-speed manual which Ford is not sending to our local dealer stock. I went thru the Ford car build wizard countless times. My favorite is the 19" black painted aluminum forked wheels that come with the GT Nite Pony package. I like some of the body colors but really dislike a contrasting blacked out roof--maybe because it looks Tesla. I like a blacked out hood like you can get with the Dark Horse (DH). I only wanted a cruiser not something with a stiffer suspension suitable for track use i.e. Performance Pack (PP) or DH. It didn't take much imagination to go all black but I kept coming back to it. I'll be damned if I'm going to spend more $ to have a body shop paint the roof the body color or any other mods e.g. rims after forking out $55k for the car.

Some cats don't like the silver lug nuts, but I think they & the little silver pony in the center are a good transition to the grayish silver stock brakes & silver rotors. I'm not doing any mods to my mustang. I love it the way Ford delivered it. It's not a DH. It's a "Shadow Pony"!
Hey brother Terminus! Thank you for the detailed explanation. I appreciate your time.
I'm just curious, you are telling me to keep my rims as is, but you made your rims black... why do you make this suggestion?
Also, I feel you on the silver nug nuts 😅! I was about to powder coat my rims black a couple of weeks ago, and last second I asked if the lugs could be black to match the rims, but the guy was like No, you have to get your own lugs. So, I've just decided to keep everything stocked on my car until I'm 100% used to it. I haven't reached 1000 miles yet...

Btw, when did you get your first oil check? I believe the Ford app notifies you, but I just wanted to hear some feedback. My old car was a Subaru wrx, and I did my first oil change at 3000 miles, and 6000 miles after that.

A stunning setup. Why oh why won't Ford put out designs that nice for Joe Public. I know they can do it!
Do you like a gold/bronze that dark, i.e., satin bronze?
It looks so dark that you wouldn't be able to tell it's not black unless you are up close.
At night, it would even be harder to tell.
Kinda reminds me of when Midnight Blue car color first came out; blue in the day, and black at night.

The Nite Pony package (black out) that I ordered blacks out the badges-pony on grill, 5.0 on sides, GT on back-, inside the headlight bezels & comes with the 19" black painted aluminum wheels.

You have the standard silver badges-pony on grill, 5.0 on sides, GT on back-& inside the headlight bezels with silver wheels.

Mine all match & yours all match. I think your car in real pics looks better than the Ford AI wizard shows. I would be just as happy with your stock setup as mine. It's a coin toss. Actually I wish the Nite Pony package had blacked out interior trim like the Dark Horse. Your badges match all the silver interior trim. So, in that respect your configuration is better & $1,400 cheaper, ha!

I'm certainly not telling you what to do. I'm just saying what I would do if it were my ride. It's a subjective matter of taste.

I assume you mean oil change not "oil check". I don't use the app. I also disconnected the telematics-modem that sends data to Ford over cell. I'm just about to 1,000 miles. I intend to change the oil & filter myself & put the car in storage for the winter-sealskin cover in the driveway-this month.

Oh, I see, so you ordered your car online and waited a couple of months to get it. I also wanted to do that, but I needed a new car asap. I just walked in and picked this guy. $1400 for just blacking out the silver stuff? Yikes lol! How much is your car if you don't mind me asking? I believe mine came out to 54,000.

Right, but at what mileage do you plan on doing your first oil change? And the ones after that?

Yes, I see your viewpoint now, and I agree with you. I'm starting to like my stock setup as is, and don't plan on doing anything to it.
Except, getting the Lambo-style luevers for the back window, and maybe the dark horse spoiler.

I was referring to the $1,395 I paid for the GT blackout package. 😉

My car was $55k out-the-door. I think in today's market worth every penny.

I'm about to do the 1st oil change at 1k miles. If I continue only putting 1k miles a season probably change oil 6 months or 500 miles whichever comes 1st as they say.

They are great pony cars. And can't beat the twin throttle body 5.0 Coyote engine.

I see you 😉
Why so early at 1k? I've never had a V8 before, so I wouldn't know...
Usually, the first oil change is at 3k, and then 6k after that.
Yeah, I agree, the car is definitely worth the price. I've been eyeing this car since 2021, and I finally decided to pull the trigger.
It's funny, actually, I ordered a purple EcoBoost back in 2022-2023. The guy said it was going to be $450 a month, but when the car arrived, he changed it to $550, so I declined.
Right now, I'm paying $650 a month for this car. If I went to a different dealership, I'm pretty sure I could've been at $500-550, but it's too late now.
How much are you paying each month if you don't mind me asking?
