Between FMVSS 180 in the US, and EU requirements, that sometimes don't agree which is why EU cars have different mirrors than US cars, the amount of sh*t that car makers are required to have and in a certain way is mind boggling.

A while back there was an euro import that had to recall all the cars they shipped into the US because the high beam indicator did not meet FMVSS, and now you'll notice that all the high beam indicators all look alike right?

In the Harley world, like all US market vehicles when the high beam headlights are on the driving/fog lights have to shut off, so a lot of guys ask the dealers to "flash" their computers so the driving lights stay on when the high beams are on.

Both of my bikes are set up to run high beams and the driving lights

(From Spain) My Mustang does have those lights.
Thanks. I thought it didn't. A friend had his American car imported and he had to remove those lights to meet the inspection.

There is also a guy here on this forum from Austria, I forgot his name. His dealership removed those lights to meet the inspection.

I guess it depends on the country in EU.
