I stumbled on this page last night after a Forscan session and I'm wondering if you guys disable this stuff? I disabled the driving one because I learned my lesson with drive safe and save, just wondering what if anything it breaks.

I will check mine next time I'm in it with time but mine is likely set the same as yours. Nobody needs to know about my driving and I don't know what media analytics is.

I know some of that is probably for the Fordpass app, I don't see why they need my driving data though. I shot myself in the foot last time I let someone track my driving lol.

Mine the same , I just turned all off except share vehicle location I think thats for fordpass app to remote start and find it there..also go to Fords website and make sure you turn them off there. There's few on the site I found and turned off. I think there in the privacy settings section at Ford site.

I turned it all off. They don’t need any of that. I disabled it on the ford site as well.

Same. I did it within the first 24 hours of ownership. No good comes from sharing it.

The major question is... Can they still track my movements? The answer is a resounding yes!

If you don't wish to be tracked, then get rid of your smartphone, turn off all of the tracking apps in your dash, and start using public transportation! Alas, these actions still will not stop you from being tracked!

Facts: There are camera everywhere (especially public transportation), and hundreds utilize face recognition. There are license plate readers in every major city in the US. Most smartphones still ping towers when shut off.

The bottom line is, kidding yourself may make you feel warm and fuzzy, but reality is a real bitch!

You actually agreed to further tracking if you signed up for a Ford loan.

I'd also suggest just because other stuff is done without your conscent doesn't mean throwing in the towel and doing nothing is just as good.

There is a world of difference between being tracked against your will and simply opening the door and welcoming it in.

Jt is funny how hard progressive pushes to get me to install their app and enable their always on location tracking. I would never, lol

No Ford loan here and I would never sign such a document. Do people not read everything they sign?

Tracking isn’t the problem, sharing without consent is.

I should have mentioned "Sharing"! I'm not alone in loathing the sharing of my so-called data! The truth is, it is being done, continue to be done, even if the FCC et.al. enact regulations and laws to prevent and/or limit tracking and selling! Orwell was right!
