A friend of mine gave me the lids off his Roush CAI because he changed to a twin turbo set up. I currently have the Steeda Pro Form CAI on my Dark Horse. I was thinking of using the lids to show the blue filters on the Steeda. Do you think there would be a problem in anyway? I googled it and AI said no you can it may harm the performance of the vehicle, which I don't get their only lids I mean I currently use the stock lids and boxes. What do you guys think?

There probably the same filters with different names on them.

Do they fit?
If so, why not use them. They're only lids.

That's what I thought but I googled it AI said they are specially engineered for roush the system and could cause a problem I mean they are just a little larger then the factory lids will a plastic window. Thx

Ai doesn’t know anything another didn’t tell it.
If they fit and they seal they won’t cause any issue.
