After a couple of days of ownership, I noticed that the logo on the door sill had grass and dirt on it. When I tried to remove the grass I noticed it had a very sticky/tacky feeling and it didn't want to come off all that easy.

I called my sales guy and he said its likely the result of the protective film getting super hot and leaving that residue on the logo after it got removed. He suggested warm water and maybe even Lysol if that didn't work. Well neither did anything, so I was considering Goo-Gone but wasn't a bit hesitant if it would harm the logo.

Looking to see if anyone else has had this issue and any recommendations on how to get it back to a smoother finish. TIA

Mine are sticky as well. Just rub with eraser or hot water on washcloth also can try masking tape and put on the sticky area rub in then slowly peel up and repeat till off. It will come off just go easy as to not scratch it. You will notice when it starts to come off

Thanks I'll try the masking tape next. I tried the goo gone, but I've applied it twice now and I feel like i'm making minimal progress.

If masking tape doesn't work use that thick clear packaging tape it's stronger pull up than masking. Just an additional thought. Good luck 👍

WD40 will take it off without damaging the finish. I have used that many times and it has always taken any glue residue from tape off cleanly and safely.
