Kids of today don’t know how bad they really have it. I mean they struggle and end up paying to learn the basics that were the norms of yesteryear. Wifi hogwash, it’s just simply astounding how one can be standing in a location and suddenly lose signal the show cut out and they find that ā€˜acceptable’. Sheesh, in my ā€˜old man day’ had one lugged that portable battery operated television set and we were standing there watching, it didn’t suddenly go fuzz, no rabbit ears grabbed a signal and that was that, sure occasionally a heavy body would block momentarily but that was way back in the way back then, supposed to be better now that we are in the future, not the same / worse. Whoa, that went another direction pretty quick, ok back to driving vs riding. If one doesn’t learn to drive why would they even need to know how to pilot an automatic? Seems the cool kids just wanna be different and learn a dying skill akin to cursive.

I think it’s cool that they are taking an interest. It is more engaging and may increase Mustang sales. Mine is an automatic but I have many days I wish it wasn’t. My next one will be. I’m Gen X but enjoy anything that takes the electric dog collar (phone) out of my have hand. The phones definitely take time away from enjoying other life experiences. I think some are starting to notice that void. The question will be what will they do with this knowledge. That may fascinate all of us as they take this building block to the next level.

Out of my two sons, one (the younger) is super into cars and guns. Drives a stick shift 2012 BumbleBee Camaro. The older isn't interested in either. Although he does drive a nice car that he likes...2015 Audi S5. Sadly, they are both into Magik the Gathering and video games. So no grandchildren for me.
