I do not think you can compare lap times due to different starting and stopping points

There's only BTG - bridge to gantry, and the full lap which the GTD, C8, etc do.
Call it BTG for amateurs ( sub 7 is very good for non pros) and the big boys do an extra 2 or 3 kms.
I think the full record is 5:19 by a Porsche 919 special. Check it out it's hard to believe what you're seeing.

As I understand it, that was a change to verified lap times. Not the old "I just done a 4:30, honest".
And the cars have to meet spec now. Like stock has to be stock, no road illegal track tyres etc.

Its based on a Steeda Q767 Dark Horse and of course we are taking it a lot further....

Seems like he's having fun

Done a lot of racing myself. But I have to say... that video with the chase car cam was probably one of the coolest track videos I've seen. And the driving looks great too (although there's no way I'd do that with at least a super light carbon helmet even with no Hans). Nice work!
