I really don’t like having those cheap looking gauges (mileage, seatbelts, etc) in the center of my gauge cluster. Is there anyway to make it just the Ford pony logo like in some of the brochure pictures?

unfortunately not. you cannot uncheck all of the instrument cluster menus, and adding the "Blank Screen" does work in the APIM and you can select it, but it does not exist in the instrument cluster itself. your best option is the Driver Assistance screen

Thanks, but I understood very little of that.

basically, just use the screen titled "Driver Assistance" that has a Mustang on it. APIM = Accessory Protocol Interface Module, which is the SYNC system. the center screen has a menu in "Settings" titled "Instrument Cluster" which will have a submenu to choose which screens your instrument cluster has to flip through. the portion of "adding Blank Screen" would require FORScan, which gets into the weeds of complicated

Anyone know how difficult it is to use the Forscan thing ? I'm very interested in using that to change and look at hidden features and things I can change. I'm computer literate but new to automotive computers and electronics. Any information would be great. Thanks a bunch
