Well got to tell you I had a 24 premium, PP with low mileage and it was a complete BITCH to sell. Fords BS employee pricing is killing the used market, you can’t give them away.

Anyway, sold it finally - and bought a 2025 Z06 bombs away 🤣👋

OK a car that depreciates like a rock, you are at least 25% down on depreciation as the car is now pushing 2.5 model years old.

It is typical you lose 1/3 in 3 years and over 50% in five , sometimes closer to 60%

It is a niche car, it isn't a family car, the back seat is useless so forget about going out to dinner with friends and expecting to put another couple in the back seat.

the average person does not care about "low mileage". They care about high mileage

Wait til you try to get your money out of a Vette

I could have had a 2013 Z06 with 3200 miles on it last fall for 32K

You can't give a C4 away

Yes the Vette is a great car and a lot of bang for the buck, but it is not an investment, it is also going to depreciate and when you go to sell it there are a limited number of buyers for it.

The guy that bought my C4 has been trying to unload it for 6 months 48K on it, needed nothing, and he can't get an offer on it let alone get the $13K he paid me for it back.

I was happy to get the 13K I had into it out of it trust me

I don’t street race and they will confiscate your car here if you get caught, so no street racing for me … I would definitely take you on - on a track though, pretty sure you’ll get smoked 😉

Respectfully, I think the reason you had a rough time selling it is because of how you modded the car. Those cosmetic changes aren't exactly for everyone...

Congrats on the Z06 though. That car is what I like to call an "American Ferrari", and if I were in a higher tax bracket, I'd get one myself.

So did you get your 1 of 1 placard and New Balance shoes yet?

I think at the last cars and coffee there was like 10 Z06s..... I tried the Corvette thing once...wait until you try to sell one of those private party.....

Unless you store it and dont drive it....Corvette depreciation is just as bad......I prefer not to be associated with a group that thinks Lambo doors is a tasteful mod.....

@BlkJack ..... you think you lost money on your GT. wait until you sell the vette. Friend had a vette got sick and tired of the maintenance costs and insurance costs. Sold it and bought a Dark Horse. he couldn't be happier. Man, I think you went in the wrong direction. At least if you have any younger nephews/nieces they will love the look of your "transformer" car.
