How to remove the car battery?

Don’t see any hose even though I had to take it out to properly charge it when I first got the DH! When I got the car battery was low couple times so I took it out and charge it overnight and now it doesn’t falter anymore!

You’re right the battery is under that plastic cover, my morning pajamas oopsie picture taken! Mine is an AGM battery and yes has that hose into it but can’t see it in the picture! Lol! It’s been more than a year since I had it taken out to charge it! I had forgotten what it looked like! My apologies!

I had just looked whether the manual for the vehicle regarding ”removing the battery”. And it is in the manual on page 309! It has the clarification on how to do it.

Please show me where it's written how to remove the hose, or even mentioning the hose.

Please show me where it's written how to remove the plug for the sensor or even mentioning the removal of the plug of the sensor.

Please show me where it's written what screws you have to remove on the positive cable since it is not clear for somebody doing this the first time which screw it is.

The manual doesn't answer any of my questions. That's why I asked the forum.

It's super frustrating that people refer to the manual after reading clearly that the answers to my question are NOT in the manual.

Right. Ask somebody who knows how to do it. That's exactly what I did, asking the question on the forum.

And what happens on the forum? Right. We have people like you who refer to the manual and say that all my questions are explained in the manual which is NOT.

Is it so hard to say that my question is not answered in the manual and try to help answer the question instead of this nonesense comment?

Everything that you remove has to be done by yourself.

The manual is just a book, it's not a mechanic that removes things for you.

Your car is not doing anything by itself just by reading the manual.

There are many things that the manual does not explain, including my questions, which you could not answer yourself.

That's why the dealership has another manual with thousands of pages on how to remove and install specific parts step by step.

Since you referred to the owners manual and not the step-by-step dealer manual, your comments are totally useless and just plain stupid.

You can't tell somebody just to remove a car part after he asks how to remove the car part.

I don't blame the author of the book, because there is another book that answers my questions, just like I said before.

The owners manual is not an installation manual. Installation manuals are different and detailed manuals that dealership mechanics use when servicing the car.

You refered to the owners manual and even told me that my questions are answered over there which again is NOT.

@Sofa King attached 2 files in this thread from the installation manual. Go check it out so you can understand the difference. There you can see exactly how to remove and install the 2 things I was asking for.

So either you did not read my questions, you didn't read the manual or both.

I put an OPTIMA Battery in mine and made sure that I attached the vent and plugged the other vent hole. Should not be an issue if you don't use the tube because the S550 battery is in the same spot and doesn't have a vent. As a side note, an S650 battery tray will fit in an S550 with some minor trimming. I was the OPTIMA Sales director before I retired, so they asked me to make sure the batteries fit with no issues.

Man, I almost thought that I went crazy.
How is this possible that this is the average level of answering questions over here? If you don't know the answer, just hold your fingers. It feels like people feel the need to say something, even when they don't know the answer, they will fabricate some answer and act like they helped out.
