Dark Horse with Steeda H pipe and Vibrant 12 inch

Resonators installed with stock mufflers. Clean crisp refined sound for those searching for the right combination without dropping 2k plus on a complete system. I started with just the H Pipe but it was to loud and raspy under full throttle. The Vibrant Resonators dialed it in perfectly.

That might be a good combination for those who want some sound yet not over do it.

I just wonder how it would dyno against stock, H-Pipe only, and H-Pipe with the Vibrant resonator. Including a decicble reading at certain rpm levels. This could be a great project for a YouTube video. I had Cherry Bomb mufflers on a 300a. Too loud.

Sound is subjective of course but me being OCD will usually not settle for anything other than perfection. Is this setup perfect......for me, for others, it's impossible to say. I will say it is not obnoxious at all, has a real nice deep tone, and sounds good at low rpm or at idle. And yes it sounds really good at wide open throttle.

I like the set up. But would love to hear it. I have the Steeda H-Pipe on my wife's 23 Mac 1, daughters 24 Dark Horse, and my 24 Dark Horse Premium. Will be taking out my daughters DH to get some break-in miles on it. All three sound great, but the Mach 1 is quieter.

I like the set up. But would love to hear it. I have the Steeda H-Pipe on my wife's 23 Mac 1, daughters 24 Dark Horse, and my 24 Dark Horse Premium. Will be taking out my daughters DH to get some break-in miles on it. All three sound great, but the Mach 1 is quieter.

I would make a sound video but, one, I've never done one before, and two all I have is a cell phone and don't know how accurate that would capture the sound....

I can't do more than half of this newfangled electronic stuff, so I let my daughter tackle them. She's some kind of computer wizz. This is how she paid for her DH, at least partially, at a mere 22 years old.

Bachelor degree by 18 will be married after she completes probation on her next job. Loves Mustangs. Her DH will be Pro charged on graduation. Got everything else but the McLoud clutch. Outlaw alloy hub half shafts, steeda stop the hop street, Steeda H-pipe, Tri-Ax short stroke shifter. She loves the road and the ranch.
