2024 Dark Matter Mustang Gt 301A Active Exhaust
Hello all! I recently purchased a brand new 2024 mustang gt (301a, dark matter gray, active exhaust) a week ago for my 27th and I don’t see myself driving anything other than a pony for the rest of my life lol . Since my purchase , I’ve searched tons of questions about the car and what you can to as far as looks and mods and recently ran into this forum online . My first and only other was a 2004 40th edition mustang so you can imagine how much of a upgrade it was for me. I have to admit though I’m not much of a car junkie so performance mods are a bit intimidating and I dont want to void any warranties but I’m also to willing learn. I’m also on a tight budget since I just got it but if anybody had any recommendations on mods or aftermarket parts that won’t break the bank please let me know . I appreciate all feedback.

Welcome aboard, first simple exchange your induction with Steeda induction for little extra fun horses! Also Steeda’s air filters!

Welcome and enjoy! Maybe I missed it but is your GT a manual or auto?

Either way enjoy and pick mods carefully and if you can observe them on someone else car to ensure its what you really want. I made the mistake once of purchasing and exhaust based on Youtube sounds and it was way too loud for my liking. Just my 2 cents!

Welcome, I got mine 10 days ago and am in love with it so I know you will be too.
As with any car, there is all kinds of crap you can add but the truth is the car is fine the way it is and really doesn't need more than gas and basic maintenance.
After market systems that increase hp are expensive and really only add such a small hp/torque gain that you can't feel it but you can sure brag you have 6 more hp and 13ftlbs more of torque than stock.
If you really want to make it faster go do the Mustang Performance Driving School in Charlotte and learn some race craft 😉

It’s Auto! And I appreciate the feedback , and yea I think the active exhaust is good enough for me , at least at the moment , not particularly a fan of super loud exhaust but I do love a deep rumble . What exhaust did you purchase that was too much for your liking ?

Yes I agree...we have the active exhaust on our DH and love the low rumble in track mode.
The exhaust I mentioned was on a Lexus ISF back in 2010. Badass 4 door back in the day!
