My dealer has confirmed today my car is in the UK. Didnt say which port but will be a September registration

Well had a surprise email from the dealer today, saying Mustang is assembly offline on the 12th August that’s a week earlier than expected

That’s probably because they just built the car and it’s earlier than schedule

False alarm for me. My car is still in the US. It is proving very hard for dealers to get accurate information as the usual European tracking team cannot access Mustang tracking data. The wait continues

Ironic that the week they start to arrive i put in an order for a new M2 for January delivery. This will be my first BMW and it was a savage drive on test. As much as owning previous mustangs i felt that the new one wasn't much different to the old one. More like a facelift plus as usual we don't get all the goodies for £70k. I still think the DH is awesome though and will miss the V8. I might come back in a few years time especially if they bring another Bullit or mach 1 out, or even a Boss

The latest M2 is a great car test drove one this week and was very impressed
Did make me wonder if I’m making the right decision waiting for my DH
But I’m going to wait 2 months now and should be driving that DH

Good to see one here for real but it's a shame the first in the country is a grey automatic, like just about every other new car in the UK
