Mines stuck at the port as well, someone mentioned that they had read a post stating that no more cars will come to the UK this year as they will exceed this yearās emissions target, my carās delivery target has been extended to November and I wonder if they are going to keep drifting it till...
The dealer is mistaken, it will show compound out when it leaves port, it usually takes a day or two to update, then compound in when it arrives in Liverpool
Thatās going to be a big hold, I do wonder if Ford wants to do a big event when they all turn up in the country, as my dealer was talking about this back in February, but at least mine has finally been given a vin and a segmentation date of mid August, delivery to dealer is the end of October
Thereās a compound just outside Liverpool they hold them in, then they deliver them to dealers from there, ship take a huge amount of vehicle but I donāt think they book them on to a ship until they arrive at the dock so that usually delays them a while
If it moves over to a MY25, then Ford will hold the price for customers who have already placed a order, as long as they keep producing a DH, š¤ they have better colours for 25
Just a heads up they donāt go to Antwerp any more, they go direct to Liverpool , they also usually spend a fair amount of time sat at the docks waiting for a ship
If they are taking two weeks off in July then they are likely to retool then and possibly change to a MY25 š¤
Mine is the 16th and none of these have build dates, all vins are from earlier dates in December and November
Itās a DH, mine doesnāt have a vin either and I ordered 15 minutes after order banks opened on the 2nd, if it goes into August Flatrock stops for the summer break and usually retools, which means it could be a MY25, which may involve colour changes š¤
No thatās the easy part, as it will be one of the Atlantic series of ships, just find the date it left and see which one was in port at that time, as thereās only four or five of them, like Atlantic Sun, Atlantic Sea, Atlantic Sail are a few of them
