Ecoboost only comes with 10-speed automatic. GT and Dark Horse come with their respective 6-speed manuals base, or can option the 10-speed automatic for $1595.

Well I’m gonna assume you don’t know this so I will tell you. They don’t offer a manual transmission in the 2024 EcoBoost Mustang. It’s not even an option.

I leaned something today! I did not know that. Seems reasonable for Ford to do that since if someone wants a performance car with a manual they would most likely get the V8 anyway. I only pay attention to the big engines.

I put the Gloss Black SR Performance knob on my auto. The billetworkz looks a little tall on the auto, but looks a lot better than the stock shifter.

The only acceptable aftermarket shifter for an automatic is something like this…

Although I don’t like that particular knob, I do want to do a different shifter knob at some point. And to the people saying to just go buy a manual transmission car, well not everyone can afford a GT or higher priced vehicle to get the manual. Although I do not know if the OP has an EB or GT so I can’t speak for him but I couldn’t afford the GT and with my particular situation, I couldn’t get a used EB or GT with the a manual so I’m stuck with the auto in the EB. Not everyone has the finances or credit to be able to get a new manual or even a used one.

I didn’t like the factory one either. Don’t bother me one bit if someone that will never be in my car likes it or not.
