0-60 Launches

I was wondering what are your 0-60 times so far in GT or DH.

I did 2 runs today: 3.97 sec and 3.82 sec were my best runs. It did spin a bit in beginning of 2nd gear, and slightly in 3rd.

Testing setup: 29 degrees C’. 1 Driver + 1 Passenger - Total 290 pounds. Half fuel tank, and full size spare tire. Windows slightly open. Drag Drive mode, Auto Trans, No brake revving, simply flooring it from a dead stop up to 100 mph.

My GT has the Performance pack & Active Exhaust & 3.55 Torsen. Filled with 98 octane, i think that’s equivalent to 93 US octane.

I noticed 2nd to 3rd shifts at 6.5k not 7.3k like the remaining shifts. Could be to keep traction, but i just felt it could’ve reached 60 mph on 2nd to save shifting time.

Timing is based on videos where I initiate timing based on frame by frame once the car starts moving. Accurate to 0.01 second, until 100+ km/h is reached.

To each his own, but I trust my eyes and 60fps footage more than GPS transmitting from/to dragy.

the dash is surprisingly accurate on the mustang. That day i was driving 160kmh on cruise, my GPS speed showed 159kmh.

The speedometer might be accurate but all the performance timers are not- it shows I pulled 1.6G on a left hand corner on mine lol- I mean I know it handles good.....but its not that good lol

I know you from Hellcat forums so I know you are legit, but looking at your display shows a best 0-60 of 1.4 which shows how our performance pages can sometimes be optimistic

Lol I’ll just call it 3.5 and leave it there.

What time is the drag strip app using for the acceleration timer? How is that time measured. Mine reads 2.7 to 2.8 seconds for a 2024 GT Performance Package. No way is that accurate. What is the best way to measure (if not at a drag strip)?

This right here......outside of an official slip its the only thing you can trust

Dragy or Racebox.. the dash timer isn't accurate at all (I did 2.5s as well.. lol). 4,1s here with DH (EU) 10AT and without paying much attention on the type of asphalt and with stock (P4Z) wheels. I believe it's a capable of sub 4s (3.9s) with AT in optimal conditions with drivable wheels (no drag or super-slick compound). I wouldn't say it's the fastest 0-100 (0-60) car, nor it's designed for it (RW with a lot of power to transfer), but I consider it a win (I weren't able to go lower than 5s with my S550 Bullitt... manual OK but...).
