After doing a search it suppose to be slightly darker with no purple hues in non sun. There are plenty of images comparing different Ford blues. It is a unique shade from other shades.

I purchased this Dark Horse in atlas blue just a few weeks ago, put on about 150 miles, then put it in the garage for the winter.

It's been very interesting perusing the forums here, and learning more every day.
