Ambient lighting not coming on automatic

Wondering if anyone has experienced this or knows a solution. When night rolls around, more often than not my ambient lighting isn’t coming on, and the settings seem to be on either brightness all the way down or in an orange colour but nothing is on. It’ll turn on if I switch it back to my colour or turn the brightness back up (depending which it seems to set at), but rarely remembers what I had set it to and comes on when it should…

it seemed to resolve on its own, nothing that I did myself. I believe it was likely a software update to the vehicle. Maybe try ensuring all is up to date and redoing the settings after. Not the most helpful I know but I can’t even think of the last time I had the issue to be honest.

I was going to suggest software update, as it’s one of the several things that are “defaulted” when an OTA update hits. Generally my first clue is the default orange color scheme, and confirmed by the prompt for the alarm on exit. If you see either, ambient lighting is reset as well.
