There are currently 1,176 total retail unscheduled orders excluding Dark Horse, as of 2/12/24. An increase of 184 retails in USOB since last week.

Retail USOB: Is the current mix of retail orders in the unscheduled order bank (USOB) at the time the report was run. The report only looks at orders that are “clean”, meaning they do not have a compatibility error, material hold or on 99 priority code.

I'd love to know how Ford determines priorities for scheduling assuming all orders are clean and there are no material issues. I have seen at least three GT orders placed after mine with options similar if not identical (except paint choice) as mine, get scheduled ahead of mine. Dealer insists they had plenty of Mustang allocations. My order was submitted with a priority of 5 which was raised to 1 last week.

I have the same EXACT car on order except A10, been waiting several weeks in silence. I'm wondering if it has something to do with it being a PP car. DH PP cars don't get built or scheduled between 12/1 and 3/1 but no one has confirmed that for the GT.

Ordered 12/21/23, same configuration, but no PP or mag. Tracking just changed to " In production".

Great for you. How did you check tracking?

You need to have the VIN, which isn't created until you have a build date scheduled.

I am just trying to figure out how Ford prioritizes "Unscheduled - Clean" orders.
You ordered 12/21/23. I assume you received a scheduled build date sometime before 2/14/24 and now you are "In Production".
When did you get your "Scheduled Build Date"?

I ordered 1/22 and I got the build date today just like you. Ford doesn't schedule performance pack cars between Dec and March so the order of who ordered when doesn't really matter.

I can understand that for the Dark Horse because of the tires, but why the GT?

ON a GT (NOT DH), what is the issue with tires? The only difference I know of is the rear tires are wider.
It's the same issue for GT PP and DH.

The tire manufacturer says specifically not to mount summer only tires in cold temperatures, so Ford doesn't schedule them in the winter months. They can't gamble on what the weather might be during those times.

I thought it was the Trefeo tires for the DH! They are supposedly brittle in the cold.

I have a performance pack car that was just built. I’ve also seen a few performance pack cars built in dec and Jan that have been delivered to dealers…

Agree. I thought DH with the Trefeo tires were the only holdup. GT with the PP & "Summer only tires" shouldn't be a problem in building them in the Winter.
