I have a feeling its going to be a Ford Performance tune that will be available first that doesn't need the ECU to be removed. My issue is I want to run a 4.09 gear with the MT82D4. Saleen tuned their own S650.

That’s not necessarily a bad thing if the FRPP tune ends up being good and also has some cool features. It would be hard to complain unless you wanted to go to the moon but most people would be happy with an FRPP tune, intake and maybe a louder exhaust

There's alot custom tuning would allow. Changing cam angles, spark advance, stoich fuel ratio (E85), flex fuel logic, speed/rpm limits, shift points, proper wide band transport times for proper long tube header fueling control...the list goes on.
I'm hopeful HP Tuners will soon crack it and we can tune them. I think 480-500RWHP with just LTHs, E85 and a tune will be common.

why do people persist in asserting LTH are beneficial? Short of an excuse to remove cats, they provide next to nothing in HP anywhere in the rev range.
That is not the case in our testing. They can provide improved mid range torque and top end power...but you need to tweak the cam angles in the tuning to get that.

watch steedas vid … headers alone picked up 40rwhp and 40rwtq
And even higher gains in TQ under the curve!

it’s THE BEST bang for your buck mod.
