Maybe it's my wipers, but I only have 4,000 miles and have owned my Mustang for 6 months. When it rains the blur is so bad I can't see out of my windshield after it wipes. I thought maybe there was oil on the windshield so purchased and used one of those clay bar cleaners on the windshield and it did nothing. Is it my wiper? I can't imagine them being so dirty when my Mustang is garaged and practically still new.

Try diluted (to 5%) vinegar and an old fashioned newspaper, just the paper with the ink not the colorful ads.

I would replace the wipers too, they can become degraded and will work like crap even if they're cleaned

I only made it 1,900 miles/7 months on factory wipers before I had to swap

Today’s newspapers stopped using the old fashioned newspaper/ink years ago. If OP already clayed the glass it’s already clean. It either the blades or even the arms that need to be replaced.

Yeah, mine barely even lasted that. The OEM wipers are not of great quality. Which ones did you end up replacing it with?

I went with the RainX Silicone Advantage blades. They wipe really well, they are standing up to abuse a bit better than the factory ones, and they respond much better to a gentle cleaning. Not sure it was worth the price though, still on the fence there. I'll probably try something different next time just to experiment.
