Just wondering which supercharger is best. The Pro Charger is much lighter than the Whipple. But the Pro Charger disadvantage is the loss of the drivers side breather box. Seems it you choke off the breathing. The Whipple doesn't lose a breather box. But the breather hoses do go from 2 into 1. I would say the Pro Charger doesn't breathe as well. I could be wrong. The Pro Charger seems to have a lower price too. I'm not cherry picking, but to obtain at least 100 HP is plenty for street use, and it keeps your car looking stock. Just started looking into the matter for a family member who doesn't wish to beat their car to obtain power. When I say street I do mean the difference between life and death, and not show.

You aren't choking the breathing off because you're forcing air into the throttle body

I noticed the Pro Charger has a separate hose going from the turbo to the driver's side air box. Guess I'll have to see a car with the charger installed. Looks much simpler than the Whipple.

It's not a turbo it's a supercharger.

It's a completely different setup than the whipple.

Didn't mean to say turbo. But it does look like a turbo. Would not convert to a turbo. A Holley double pumper, oh boy. That'd work. But the Pro Charger is for my daughter. Seems simpler than the Whipple. Got to go through Heaven and Hell, plus 2.5k to install a Whipple.

Yes. But not through Ford. Just don't want to add weight to the car. I hear the Whipple adds 160 lbs. Plus the entire intake doesn't need to be taken off, and leaving a $5k car part sitting on a shelf in the garage. I'm going to research it for a while. plenty time to do so.

What’s the reason for the speed need again? To avoid car jackers? Just curious

Look at it this way. 50 in 5.0s. Nearly every leader, a couple wives, sons and daughters are. Evasion, pursuit, and defensive driving when needed. I may not be a drag racer, but am schooled in defensive driving. Just got a beautiful Atlas Blue 401a for my daughter. I'm just wanting a stage one with a basic tune. I got the Whipple in mine. One hundred extra ponies is all that's needed for an edge.

Considered Nos? Less added weight. 100 extra ponies on demand and no extra parts taking dust in the garage.

Someone said on a video it's a turbo with a belt drive. Looks like a turbo anywho.

We're not drag racers. Just defensive driving in town if needed. Need another edge.

No. We're not drag racers, and need the power on tap for defensive driving in town. Wanted it years ago on my Harley. Mainly for looks.
