Whipple Stage 1/2 Add Ons?

Can anyone explain in some detail what the Heat exchanger and dual IC pump add-ons provide for the whipple SC? Planning to make the purchase soonish and wondering if the extra 1k is worth the cost. In Georgia at the moment, but dont plan to track the car or anything like that. Thanks in advance.

Heat exchanger acts like a radiator for your supercharger, cooling the air before it enters the engine while the dual pumps move fluid twice as fast through the system, pulling heat away from the supercharger much more efficiently than a single pump.
