My old ears don’t really hear very well. Too many hours flying in AF aircraft many years ago and lots of miles on motorcycles.
No. I can hear my cars vented seats running too. It's not loud or obtrusive, but it's there, and it's noiser than my '23 was. I couldn't here my 2015 seats running at all.

If that’s the case how do the seats get hot or cold when the climate controls remain constant? I can pretty quickly tell the different when I switch from cooling to heating seats.
I don't think our seats have a tec/ted

Its called heated and ventilated
Think it's just a fan
So putting the AC to also go to the floor may help
But I agree the breeze is not strong it kinda just enough to feel it

After having the A/C on for a minute and I turn on the cooled ventilated seats...its quite cold and very comfortable from the seat itself. No more swamp a$$.

I strongly suspect the early S550s had piped AC to the seats. Those things blew strong and cold but they DID NOT operate without the AC running like ours do.

Mine works good. I always leave it on 3. It's not like a hockey table fan but it's very noticeable.

I'd be surprised if you could feel air flowing through the fabric. But mine work fine, a lovely cooling effect.
I could say, "I got chills, they're multiplyin'"

Very interesting. And to think all I had to do was buy a 2025 Ford Mustang to learn this.......:sunglasses::crackup:
By the way, same principle can be used to generate electricity. Heat one side / keep other side cooler and it will create a current. Although condensation may occur below dew point.
