Has anybody with a 10-speed auto been experiencing a loud thump or metallic clunk after a warm restart? Usually happens after the car sits for about 10–15 minutes.

I already had my transmission replaced around 26k miles, so the dealer is pretty much ruling the transmission out at this point. I’ve been seeing a lot of other 2024 owners talking about the same issue, but I still haven’t seen anyone post an actual fix or solution.

The noise is SUPER loud almost like something is about to snap or jump underneath the car when restarting. Sometimes it even feels like the car lunges a little.

Has anybody actually taken theirs to the dealer and gotten this fixed? If so, what was the issue and what did they replace or update?

I added a video you can hear it the min the car start.

Happened to me once after driving in Track Mode and somewhat spirited driving. startled the hell out of me. It seems it's "normal" if enough trans fluid pressure builds up from aggressive driving/ shifting....or something like that.

Others here could explain it better, but as far as I've read, it's not something to worry about.
